Over 10 lakh e-Shram registrants have registered on the Nationwide Profession Service (NCS) portal and are getting jobs accordingly, an official assertion stated on Friday.
The portal of the Ministry of Labour and Employment was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 20, 2015.
“Thus far, greater than 10 lakh e-Shram registrants have registered on NCS portal and eShram employees are getting respectable jobs by way of NCS,” based on a presentation on the Assembly of the Parliamentary Consultative Committee of the Members of Parliament for the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
