MDU Resources (NYSE:MDU) said Thursday that President and CEO David Goodin will retire effective January 5, following a 40-year career with the company, to be succeeded by Nicole Kivisto, currently president and CEO of the company’s electric and natural gas utility companies.
Goodin began his career at MDU Resources (MDU) in 1983 and served in various positions of increasing responsibility before becoming President and CEO in 2013.
Kivisto joined the company in 1995 and was selected in 2015 to lead the company’s utilities, which include Cascade Natural Gas Corp., Intermountain Gas Company and Montana-Dakota Utilities Co.
